
Noise Training
An employer who provides a worker with a hearing protection device shall also provide adequate training and instruction to the worker in the care and use of the device. This includes its limitations, proper fitting, inspection, maintenance and, if applicable, the cleaning and disinfection of the device.

Respirator Protection
Training
Every employer who provides a worker with a respirator shall provide training and instruction to the worker in the care and use of the respirator before the worker first uses the respirator. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requires all employers to train AND fit-test employees who use respiratory protection on the job.
