In Ontario, there’s no such thing as a forklift license. You need to complete a forklift training program to acquire a forklift certification that is accredited by the CSA (Canadian Standards Association). This certification is sometimes also referred to as a forklift license.

A forklift certification (also referred to as forklift license) is valid for 3 years in Ontario. After the 3-year period, you will need to get re-certified via a practical and theoretical assessment to comply with Ontario’s safety regulations.
