What’s Covered In This JHSC Online Training Course
This Joint Health and Safety Committee training takes the information learned in Part 1 and brings it into focus for your specific workplace. The course is sector based for: construction/manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, office/services and health care. Since each sector has different hazards and safety concerns to consider, a course for office workers and a course for warehouse workers will differ greatly. Topics that can be covered in this course can include, but is not limited to:

Become a Certified JHSC Member
Completion of this online course, and passing the certification test will allow participants to return to their workplace as fully certified members of their Joint Health and Safety Committee. This means they are recognized to have the ability to conduct workplace inspections and take part in work refusal disputes, as well as workplace fatality and critical injury investigations. As is the case with the in-class version of this course, the online JHSC course needs to be completed within 12 months of completing Part 1. Otherwise, participants will have to complete Part 1 again before completing Part 2. Upon earning their certification, a certified member will need to take a refresher course once every 3 years.
